This Is Ghana Exhibition 2026

Mikrobot Academy brought STEM to the heart of Efua Sutherland's Children's Park this year, joining This Is Ghana Exhibition to celebrate local innovation and homegrown talent. While kids tinkered and built with LEGOs at our booth, it was the grown-ups who couldn't look away from our NVIDIA Jetson-powered Robot Arm and Cocoa Shade Optimization project. Add in 3D printing demos and creations from our LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and WRO Future Innovators kits, and our booth became a small showcase of what Ghana's next generation of innovators is already building.
Mikrobot Academy participated in this year's edition of This Is Ghana Exhibition. The exhibition is a two-day annual event organized by ChannelOne TV and CitiFM in collaboration with partners and sponsors. The event was organized to celebrate local innovations, arts and culture and also encourage Ghanaians to patronize Made-In Ghana products.
Preparation for the exhibition included booking a spot at the Efua Sutherland's Children's Park and selecting facilitators, students, kits and projects to represent Mikrobot's ongoing efforts to raise a generation of confident, innovative young Ghanaians who apply science, engineering and emerging technologies to creatively solve real-world problems and contribute to Ghana's technological future. Our objectives for the event were to spark curiosity, creativity, and passion for STEM among participants and also introduce Mikrobot Academy to a wider audience.
The kids who visited our booth had a fun time tinkering and building with LEGOs. The adults, however, were fascinated by our NVIDIA Jetson-powered Robot Arm and Cocoa Shade Optimization project. We also showcased 3D printing and projects built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits and WRO Future Innovators set.
Participating in this year's event was fun and deeply rewarding. We're grateful to the event organizers for the platform to showcase our student-led projects, unique educational kits and equipment.

Mikrobot Academy proudly represented Ghana at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Final 2025 in Singapore, where young talents from the academy showcased innovative robotics solutions on a global stage, gaining invaluable experience and inspiring the next generation of Ghanaian innovators.
